I have been designing in some form or fashion for nearly twenty years. I began my career in Marketing and Graphic Design producing print collateral and web graphics. I eventually made my way into the media of jewelry design. After several years of developing my craft, I began Silver Earth Designs as a way to share my creativity, love of design and admiration of nature with others.

Inspired by Earth's canvas, I design my jewerly pieces to be a reflection of the beauty that surrounds us. Using traditional and modern metalworking techniques to craft unique precious metal pieces, I add extra dimension by incorporating the ancient art of Keum Boo, Silver Earth Designs' Lampwork Glass Beads and genuine gemstones from the earth and sea.

My collection is a combination of Argentium & Sterling silver wire-wrapped jewelry pieces - using unique objects such as fossils, pottery shards, semi-precious and genuine gemstones - and fabricated Sterling, Argentium and fine silver pieces - crafted using techniques such as Chasing, Repousse’, Fusing/soldered joints, Fold Form and Precious Metal Clay sculpting.  To accent my designs I use organic textures, Japanese patinas and incorporate semi-precious and genuine gemstones as well as glass beads formed with a Lampwork technique using soft glass (96 or 104 COE), which is then annealed in a kiln.

I love what I do.  From first visualizing the design to drafting and crafting the pieces, each design becomes a personal, beloved creation born from the heart.  It is my hope that those who appreciate my jewelry designs enjoy wearing them as much as I love creating them.
